Website Terms
The basis on which you may use this website and our public enquiry routes.
1. About us
This website is operated by SYP Confidence CIC, company number 13455734, a community interest company registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 21 Cecil Road, Croydon, CR0 3BN. Contact: info@sypccic.org or 020 4577 4268.
2. Using this website
You may use this website for lawful personal, family, community and organisational information or enquiry purposes. You must not:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access, disrupt the site or introduce malicious code;
- submit information you are not authorised to share, impersonate another person or misuse a referral route;
- upload or paste safeguarding reports, medical histories, identity documents, criminal-record information, bank details or full case files into a public form;
- copy or commercially exploit protected content without permission.
3. Activities, places and progression
Website content describes our aims and possible activities. A submission is an enquiry, not confirmation of a place, service, event, performance, funding, employment or partnership. Activities, eligibility, age ranges, venues, dates, capacity and costs may change. Participation is subject to appropriate consent, safeguarding, risk assessment, access needs, partner arrangements and available resources.
No automatic or guaranteed progression: Think‑I is a separate adult-only professional pathway for ages 18 and over, normally private and fee-paying. It uses its own enquiry, suitability decision, agreement, pricing and records. SYPC participation does not create an automatic or guaranteed route into Think‑I, paid work, professional representation, stage work, awards or other commercial opportunities.
Young people and responsible adults should also read our Participation & Safety Guide and Community Performance Terms.
4. Children and young people
Young people may explore the website. A parent, carer or authorised professional should complete or support an enquiry where the young person is not able to provide valid information or consent on their own. Our public forms intentionally request only a limited first step. We may require age-appropriate consent, parental responsibility checks and a secure follow-up before participation.
5. Safeguarding and emergencies
This website is not monitored continuously and is not an emergency or crisis service. If someone is in immediate danger, call 999. For urgent safeguarding concerns, follow the relevant school, setting, local-authority or statutory procedure. Do not use a public website form to send detailed safeguarding information.
6. Information, advice and external links
We aim to keep website information accurate and accessible, but it may become incomplete or out of date. Website content is general information and is not legal, medical, therapeutic, financial or safeguarding advice. External links are provided for convenience; we do not control those sites.
7. Intellectual property and permissions
Unless stated otherwise, this website’s writing, design, brand assets, images and downloadable materials are owned by SYP Confidence CIC or used with permission. You may print or download reasonable extracts for personal or internal organisational use. Other copying, adaptation, publication or commercial use needs written permission. Photography, filming, performance and publicity permissions are managed separately from website use.
8. Availability and liability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, we are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss caused by reliance on general website information, external websites or interruption beyond our reasonable control.
9. Privacy and cookies
Our Privacy Notice explains how we use personal information. Our Cookie Notice explains this build’s use of storage and cookies.
10. Changes, governing law and contact
We may update these terms when our services, technology or legal duties change. Material changes will carry a new effective date. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any rights that apply to you as a consumer.
