Designated Safeguarding Lead
Ameenah Bailey is the Designated Safeguarding Lead for SYP Confidence CIC.
Safeguarding records and detailed concerns are restricted to the DSL and authorised executive safeguarding access held by Denise Shaw. Project managers and the wider team receive only the minimum information required to follow an approved safety instruction.
Safeguarding concerns should be raised through the appropriate route for the setting and activity involved. For general safeguarding contact, please email the organisation.

Young people, families and authorised professionals can read the public safety guide and community performance terms before making an enquiry.
If someone is in immediate danger, call 999. For setting-specific concerns, follow the safeguarding process of the school, care setting, venue, local authority or partner organisation involved.
Raising a concern
Who to contact
Safeguarding concerns should be sent to our Designated Safeguarding Lead, Ameenah Bailey, at safeguarding@sypccic.org. This mailbox is monitored and access is restricted to those authorised to handle safeguarding information.
If a child or adult is in immediate danger, do not wait for us. Call 999. For non-emergency concerns about a child in Croydon, contact the local authority children’s social care team; for an adult at risk, contact adult social care.
Please do not include detailed safeguarding information in our general website enquiry forms — they are not the right route for it.
